This study examines the relevance of the curriculum of a private religious School in Ibadan, SouthWestern Nigeria. The study investigated the extent by which the curriculum of the school is being implemented. The areas that were considered include the structure of the curriculum, the teaching methods and the textbooks used. Two methodologies namely, qualitative and quantitative were adopted in the study. The questionnaires were used with samples of 300 students and 30 teachers were selected for the interview. The findings from the quantitative show that most of the teachers of the school lack the minimum qualification equivalent to the government schools for teaching profession in the country. While the finding from the qualitative indicated that the curriculum and textbooks needs to be reviewed as to meet up with current educational challenges of the country. It was thereby recommended that the curriculum experts must be consulted in updating the curriculum, textbooks and pedagogical practice of the school in order to make it relevant to the contemporary challenges.
