This book reports the result of an assessment of the girls' education project in Unity University College, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Representative data were collected from three groups of respondents (project staff, project beneficiaries and top management of the University College). Both qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods were employed. According to the summary of the findings, the execution of this ever new project in the context of the country and the success of some of the graduates from the project can be considered as positive results. However, the project is well behind the plan in order to meet its objectives in the given time. Furthermore, the project cycle management is found to be problematic due to several factors such as lower level of involvement of project beneficiaries, poor competence of project staff, lack of project fund and ineffective project finance management. Based on these findings the researcher recommended that the project objectives need to be revised. Furthermore, improving capacity of project staff in resource mobilization and management of the project cycle need to be given attention.
