Edinger has greatly enriched my understanding of psychology through the avenue of alchemy. No other contribution has been as helpful as this for revealing, in a word, the anatomy of the psyche and how it applies to where one is in his or her process. This is a significant amplification and extension of Jungs work. Two hundred years from now, it will still be a useful handbook and an inspiring aid to those who care about individuation. I was hoping for a more practical guide on psychotherapy, but this felt more like a philosophical exploration. The ideas are interesting, but I struggled to see how to apply them in real-life settings. Maybe better suited for academics than practitioners.

Deep Insights into the Mind
I just finished reading 'Anatomy of the Psyche' and wow, it really opened my eyes to how alchemical symbolism intertwines with psychotherapy. The concepts are deep, but the author presents them in an engaging way that kept me hooked. Definitely worth reading for anyone interested in psychology or self-discovery!

Thought-Provoking but Dense
This book has some really intriguing ideas about the psyche and alchemical symbolism, but I found some parts a bit dense. It took me a while to get through those sections. If you're up for a challenge and love psychological theory, give it a shot, but be prepared for some heavy reading!
