Es entstehen Gruppen und Randgruppen, Menschen sind in" oder out" und andere entscheiden, ob wir etwas wert sind, der Gesellschaft dienen, Leistung erbringen, gut oder schlecht sind und behandeln uns entsprechend. In vielen dieser Kategorien erlangt insbesondere die Schlerschaft der Frderschule zur individuellen Lebensbewltigung keine besondere Anerkennung und Wertschtzung von Seiten ihrer Mitmenschen. Selbstverstndlich das wissen wir in unserer westlichen, zivilisierten Welt sind all diese Kategorisierungen relativ zu betrachten und durch einen kurzen Perspektivwechsel leicht auf den Kopf zu stellen. Auf der Basis der groen Gemeinsamkeit des MENSCHseins" spielen Individualitt und Identitt eine bedeutende Rolle in unserer Gesellschaft. Leider wird geistig behinderten Menschen aufgrund ihrer verminderten Intelligenz hufig diese individuelle Identitt von vornherein abgesprochen. Dies hat Frustration, Enttuschung, eine gewisse erlernte Hilflosigkeit und Aufflligkeiten im sozialemotionalen Verhalten zur Folge. Neben der eben kurz dargestellten allgemeinen Brisanz der Thematik Identittsbewusstsein" fr geistig behinderte Menschen, mchte ich kurz darstellen, weshalb ich diesen Bereich zum Gegenstand dieser Hausarbeit machen mchte.
