Die vorliegende Studie untersuchte mgliche Einflussgren auf die Belastungen von Angehrigen schizophren Erkrankter. Dabei handelte es sich um Kollektive der Mnchener PIPStudie (Buml et al., 1996) mit und ohne bifokale Kurzzeitpsychoedukation; ein drittes Kollektiv nahm an Angehrigengruppen teil, die nicht in Zusammenhang mit der Mnchener PIPStudie standen. Soziodemographische Faktoren und die Compliance der Erkrankten (Deckeneffekt) konnten den unterschiedlichen Grad aon Belastungen der Angehrigen nicht erklren. Psychopathologische Verhaltensaufflligkeiten der Patient/innen (Plus und Minussymptomatik) und eine kurzzeitig zurckliegende Klinikentlassung stehen jedoch in einer signifikanten Beziehung mit dem Belastungsausma. Die extern durchgefhrte Angehrigengruppe lassen einen sekundrsupportiven Effekt erkennen, die bifokale Kurzzeitpsychoedukation scheint hingegen einen sekundrprventiven Effekt auf die Belastungen zu haben.
