Nostalgic Collection for Kids
I got this book for my son, and he loves the tales of Paul Bunyan and Davy Crockett! The illustrations are vibrant, and it’s a great way to introduce him to classic American folklore. We read a story every night, and it sparks his imagination!

Beautiful Art, But Quite Short
While I loved the beautiful art throughout the book, I found some stories were a bit too short for my taste. I expected more depth, especially with characters like Davy Crockett. My kids still liked it, though!

Mixed Feelings About the Stories
The stories in this collection are solid, but some of them feel a bit dated. My daughter enjoys Pecos Bill but wasn't so into Sweet Betsy. Still, it's a fun read-aloud choice for family time.
