In der vorliegenden Dissertation werden Grundzustandseigenschaften von S = 1 Spinketten mit Austausch und zustzlicher EinIonenAnisotropie im Magnetfeld untersucht. Frheren Arbeiten folgend werden hauptschlich zwei Flle betrachtet: Ein festes Verhltnis der beiden Aniostropien und eine feste, stark anisotrope Austauschanisotropie. Methodisch wird vorwiegend die DichtematrixRenormierungsgruppe (DMRG) fr eine endliche Kettenlnge und fr ein unbegrenztes System (iDMRG) verwendet. Bei dem hier erstmals durchgefhrten Vergleich der Phasendiagramme fr die QuantenSpinkette und das entsprechende klassische Modell werden insbesondere folgende Aspekte behandelt: Die hnlichkeit der Phasendiagramme und die Korrespondenz der Phasen wird erlutert sowie die auffallenden Unterschiede hervorgehoben. Die vielzhligen Phasen des Quantenmodells, zu denen z.B. die antiferromagnetische, ferromagnetische, Spinflssigkeits und SupersolidPhase gehren, und ihre Eigenschaften werden behandelt. Einige der Quantenphasenbergnge, die zwischen den Phasen mglich sind, werden analysiert.
