La humanidad ha utilizado diversas fuentes de energa para producir energa elctrica, sin embargo sta no siempre ha sido amigable con el ambiente. Por ello, en la actualidad se han desarrollado tecnologas modernas para producir electricidad de forma sustentable. Una de ellas es la generacin elica, con la utilizacin de grandes ventiladores o molinos que utilizando la energa cintica del flujo de aire hagan funcionar un generador y obtener as el preciado recurso. En el presente trabajo se analizan diferentes formas de mejorar la funcin de las hlices de un molino de generacin elctrica, partiendo del diseo de las mismas; ya que es esencial reducir las prdidas de energa debido a la friccin del aire con dichas hlices, y con ello eficientar la generacin de energa elica. Para esto se debe analizar cmo se comporta la capa lmite entre la hlice y el aire, para aprovechar al mximo la energa del aire y as aumentar la eficiencia de los aerogeneradores.
