Muchos de los sistemas elctricos que se aplican en la industria resultan ser no lineales, entre ellos los convertidores de potencia como los filtros activos de potencia, los rectificadores, los cicloconvertidores, etc. Cierta clase de sistemas, y ante ciertas condiciones, resultan exhibir un comportamiento complejo, denominado catico, y cuya principal caracterstica es que no pueden ser predecibles. Este libro muestra que para ciertas condiciones los filtros activos de potencia muestran caos lo cual previene a los diseadores de caminar por el difcil camino de la incertidumbre de la dinmica del ellos. Este libro presenta el desarrollo de tesis de Maestra que realiz el autor en el Centro Nacional de Investigacin y Desarrollo Tecnolgico.
