Anlisis mtrico y comentario estilstico de textos literarios conjuga la teora y la prctica del estudio de dos parcelas importantsimas del texto literario: la mtrica y la estilstica. El libro est pensado como ayuda a los alumnos de primer ciclo de estudios filolgicos, que tienen que practicar este tipo de comentario en alguna fase de su aprendizaje. En la parte de anlisis mtrico, junto a las pautas tericas mnimas, se comentan detalladamente distintas formas del verso espaol. Los ejemplos estn pensados para el alumno que tenga que desarrollar esta prctica en el examen. Por lo que respecta al comentario estilstico, se parte de una teora de la lengua literaria para describir las principales figuras del estilo literario e ilustrar su funcionamiento con el anlisis de textos poticos de distintas pocas. Se piensa igualmente en el alumno que debe practicar este tipo de acercamiento al texto en el proceso de estudio de distintas asignaturas relacionadas con la literatura.
