Eine Fusion ist sehr viel komplexer und geht ber den Horizont einer einzelnen Fhrungskraft hinaus. Bei der Vernderung eines Unternehmens im Umfang einer bernahme mssen nicht nur sehr unterschiedliche Unternehmenskulturen zusammengefhrt werden, sondern auch die komplette Aufbau und Ablaufstruktur zweier Organisationen aufeinander abgestimmt werden. Ein hufig beobachtetes Phnomen, das laut vieler Wirtschaftsexperten der Grund fr das Scheitern solcher Vorhaben ist, ist die eindimensionale Sichtweise der Manager und Entscheidungstrger, aus der die Unterschtzung der Reichweite ihrer Beschlsse fr die Anpassungsleistungen der Belegschaft resultiert. Eine Fusion oder bernahme umfasst alle Bereiche und Ebenen eines Unternehmens und kann nur dann fr alle erfolgreich und gewinnbringend sein, wenn sich (im Idealfall) jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter mit der geplanten Vernderung identifizieren kann und die Mglichkeit hat, den Vernderungsprozess ein Stck weit aktiv mitzugestalten beziehungsweise zu verstehen.
