Hoy el desarrollo de la ciencia y la tecnologa resultan fundamentales para el desarrollo econmico de nuestros pases, sin embargo, pese a su importancia creciente y el aumento de mujeres en carreras vinculadas a estudios cientfico tecnolgico esta contina por debajo de los porcentajes previsibles. El porqu de esta situacin, ha sido motivo de diversos estudios que en su intento por explicar los mecanismos de esta exclusin han focalizado su atencin sobre la forma en que las diferencias sexuales han sido utilizadas por las sociedades para mantener una distribucin desigual del trabajo y del poder. El presente estudio pretende dar a conocer cmo se construyen los discursos de hombres y mujeres con relacin a la CyT.Para ello, se analiza la problemtica especfica de las mujeres que estudian Ciencias e Ingeniera de la Pontificia Universidad Catlica del Per. Partimos del anlisis de los modelos tericos existentes en torno a estos temas: el enfoque CTS (Ciencia, Tecnologa y Sociedad) y el enfoque feminista, desde una perspectiva de gnero. Todo ello, con la idea de generar cambios a nivel del quehacer cientfico y tecnolgico.
