I expected more visuals in this book. The text itself is engaging, but having more maps or images would’ve helped me visualize the ancient world. It’s a good addition to my collection but a little disappointing in that regard.

While the content is rich and informative, I found some sections a bit heavy to get through. It’s packed full of facts, but sometimes the writing felt a little too academic. Still, a solid read for serious history buffs!
