Die "Forschungsgruppe Europische Gemeinschaften" (FEG) am Institut fr Politikwissenschaft der PhilippsUniversitt Marburg hat sich seit einigen Jahren mit Problemen der konomischen Transnationalisierung vor allem im Rahmen der Europischen Union und ihren Wirkungen auf die Politik sowohl auf der nationalen (und subnationalen) als auch auf der europi schen Ebene befaBt. Das bergreifende Erkenntnisinteresse konzentriert sich dabei auf die Prozesse des sozialkonomischen und politischen Um bruchs, die sich in der krisenhaften Auflsung der sog. "GoldenAge" Formation des Nachkriegskapitalismus (vgl. MargliniSchor 1991) in den westlichen Metropolen vollziehen. Dabei soll auch ein gesellschafts und politiktheoretisches Begriffsinstrumentarium entwickelt bzw. weiterentwik kelt werden, urn Triebkrfte, Verlaufsformen und typische Handlungskon stellationen in solchen Transformationsprozessen angemessen zu erfassen I. Im AnschluB an den Erkenntnisstand einer neogramscianisch erwei terten regulationstheoretischen Analyse des bergangs vom Fordismus 2 3 zum Postfordismus gehen wir davon aus, daB das Zerbrechen der Kohsion zwischen dem Akkumulationsregime und den politischen, sozialen und kulturellen Regulationsweisen die zentrale Achse jenes tiefgreifenden Wan deIs im letzten Viertel des 20. Jahrhundert bildet, auf die in letzter Instanz auch die Prozesse der europischen Integration und Poli tik reagieren. Die konomische Transnationalisierung wird vermittelt ber strategisches Handeln relevanter Akteure (Unternehmen, politische Akteure, Verbnde, soziale Bewegungen) zum Ma8stab fr die Anpassung der Regulations weise, fr die Transformation vom "keynesianischen Wohlfahrtsstaat" zum "nationalen Wettbewerbsstaat" (vgl.
