Se presenta en este documento la Memoria de Resultados Finales de un Proyecto de Investigacin realizado entre los aos 2001 y 2005, bajo financiacin del Ministerio Espaol de Ciencia y Tecnologa, en colaboracin entre las Universidades de Cantabria, Politcnica de Madrid y Santiago de Compostela, el Instituto de Fsica Aplicada del CSIC, y las empresas ACORDE Technologies y EADS CASA Espacio, todos ellos pertenecientes al sector tecnolgico relacionado con el diseo y la fabricacin de antenas para comunicaciones. En este trabajo, adems de los problemas propios del diseo y la fabricacin de antenas que requieren un diagrama de radiacin predeterminado o un apuntamiento activo, se plantean soluciones a problemas que son consecuencia del entorno donde se coloca la antena, como es el caso de las condiciones de ambiente espacial en aplicaciones a bordo de satlites geoestacionarios, o las propias de aplicaciones en tierra para sistemas mviles en comunicaciones va satlite, o para estaciones fijas de telefona mvil, que son antenas que requieren tambin un control activo del haz.
