Surge as, de forma coetnea, el vdeoarte y el arte ciberntico. Se analiza la importancia que Internet ha adquirido como instrumento para concebir nuevas manifestaciones artsticas y como medio para difundir las publicaciones, las colecciones y los servicios de los museos que han convertido a esta red en un sustituto de las pginas tradicionales de sus publicaciones peridicas. Por ltimo, se analiza el surgimiento de los museos virtuales y digitales.
