While I appreciate the effort put into 'Aspects of Antiquity', the pacing felt slow in parts. Some chapters dragged on more than I hoped, but I'm glad I read it for the unique perspectives on ancient controversies.

Great for research but dense reading
I picked up this book for a class project on ancient societies and it has a ton of info. However, the writing can be quite dense, which made it a little hard to get through at times. It's a solid reference, though!
