Fredrik Barth'S Study Of Swat In Northwestern Pakistan Exhibits An Even More Divergent Case. Edmund Leach'S Introductory Essay Discusses The General Theoretical Issues Raised By These Examples And Their Importance For An Understanding Of Social Issues In South Asia.
