Morphological processes have been studied in various languages of the world but not in Dangme which is among the many linguistic communities striving to develop. This study is aimed at describing aspects of the morphological processes of the Dangme language. The book is an attempt at showing how nouns, verbs, and adjectives are inflected and derived in Dangme. It examines the inflectional and derivational affixes of verbs and nouns, and classifies nouns into count nouns and number suffixes, suffixes with kinship and locative nouns, diminutive affixes, abstract noun roots and derivational affixes, and also verb inflection which include tense, aspect, mood. In addition, it defines the context of Dangme morphological processes, and discusses negation in relation to tense, aspect and mood. This study also shows another process of deriving new words other than derivational and inflectional, that is compounding. These discoveries in Dangme, could be compared with what exist in other languages. This book should be especially useful to students, teachers, lecturers, researchers, or any one else who may be interested in language.
