Unfortunately, my copy arrived with a ripped cover, which was disappointing. I expected better packing. The content looks great, but I can't even display it nicely right now.

Not what I expected
I was looking for a more straightforward overview of the Civil War, but this book dives deep into tactics and terrain. It’s well-written, just not what I was hoping for. Still informative though!

Detailed but challenging read
The Atlas of the Civil War is filled with detailed maps and tactics, which I appreciate. However, some sections are a bit challenging to get through. It’s not light reading, but worth it for the serious student of history.
