Il y rgne comme une ambiance de village , la fois actif et calme, alternant des rues trs commerantes comme la rue CroixBaragnon et des lieux plus apaisants et secrets comme le Jardin Royal. Derrire toutes ces portes cochres, on devine des jardins, des cours arbores. Nous n'avons pas eu la prtention de faire un travail d'historiens, d'autres en leur temps l'ont dj fait, de manire fort complte (Jules Chalande, Robert Mesuret, Jean Rocacher, Pierre Salis). Nous leur rendons ici hommage. Nous avons juste voulu mieux connatre l'origine du nom des rues et des places qui composent notre quartier et raliser une photographie instantane de son aspect aujourd'hui, car ce quartier, riche d'un pass de nombreux sicles, est aussi un quartier vivant, anim, ayant su s'adapter notre mode de vie.
