Die Aufladung von Verbrennungsmotoren findet ihren Ursprung bereits zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts durch die Entwicklung eines Abgasturboladers durch den Schweizer Ingenieur Bchi. Ausgehend von einer Anwendung dieses Auflade systems bei grovolumigen Schiffsdieselmotoren hat sich bis heute der An wendungsbereich ber den Einsatz im Nutzfahrzeugbau bis hin zu kleinvolumigen schnellaufenden Motoren bei Personenwagen ausgedehnt. Die Entwicklung der Auftadetechnik beschritt dabei unterschiedliche Wege und umfat heute ver schiedene gasdynamisch und mechanisch betriebene Systeme. Eine stndige Verbesserung der einzelnen Systeme und ihrer Regelmglichkeiten (z. B. Bypassregelung, variable Geometrie, Registeraufladung) und ein dadurch breiteres Anwendungsgebiet (Otto, Dieselmotor, Zweitakt, ViertaktPrinzip) konnten re alisiert werden, wodurch ebenfalls ein positiver Einflu auf das Ansprechverha en des Systems, auf den Verbrennungsproze des Motors und die Schadstoffemission (Kraftstoffverbrauch, Katalysatortechnik) ausgebt wird. Innerhalb dieser Tagung werden aus der Sicht der Hersteller und der Anwendervon Aufladeaggregaten die Vor und Nachteile sowie neueste Entwicklungen und Tendenzen vorgestellt und knnen darber hinaus ausfhrlich diskutiert werden.
