I bought this book thinking it would be more of a modern love story, but it had a traditional vibe that surprised me. The writing is lovely, but I found some parts a bit slow. Still, it’s a nice addition to Sudha Murthy's collection and worth a read if you enjoy classic themes.

Sudha Murthy never disappoints! 'Gir Gaya' really brings out the essence of love and sacrifice in a captivating way. I finished it in a couple of evenings and felt so connected to the characters. It’s a bestseller for a reason! Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a heartfelt story in Hindi.
