Product Description Das vorliegende Buch behandelt die Auswirkungen des demographischen Wandels auf das Nachfrageverhalten nach medizinischen Leistungen. Dies erfordert zudem die Betrachtung der Frage, ob ltere Menschen hhere Gesundheitskosten verursachen. Die hierbei zentrale Frage, ob die Nhe zum Tod oder aber das Lebensalter eines Menschen die Hhe der aufgewandten Gesundheitsausgaben bestimmt, wird in dem Buch aufgegriffen. Durch die Veralterung der Gesellschaft entsteht im umlagefinanzierten Sozialversicherungssystem in Deutschland ein erheblicher Kostendruck.
