Gre und Komplexitt empirischer konometrischer Modelle haben in den letzten Jahrzehnten immer mehr zugenommen. Die Zuverlssigkeit des zugrundeliegenden Datenmaterials hat sich dagegen kaum verbessert, und eine Fehlspezifizierung von Mefehlermodellen zur Schlieung der Lcke zwischen theoretischen konomischen Variablen und den verfgbaren Daten erscheint schon wegen der unglcklichen Trennung zwischen Datenproduzenten und Datennutzern kaum vermeidbar. In dieser Arbeit werden die Auswirkungen solcher Fehlspezifizierungen auf Parameterschtzungen und Prognosen in Modellen wachsender Komplexitt bis hin zu nichtlinearen interdependenten dynamischen Modellen analysiert mit Hilfe von asymptotischen Aussagen und MonteCarloSimulationen. Fr ein makrokonomisches Modell fr die BRD werden auerdem Methoden diskutiert zur Beschaffung von Informationen ber Art und Gre von Mefehlern. Die Simulationsrechnungen basieren auf der Zuverlssigkeit und Schnelligkeit des zugrundeliegenden numerischen Algorithmus zur FullInformationMaximumLikelihoodSchtzung in nichtlinearen interdependenten Modellen. Darstellung und Diskussion eines fr diesen Zweck entwickelten Algorithmus (trustregionVerfahren mit automatischer Skalierung) bilden den zweiten Schwerpunkt der Arbeit.
