This book is a fantastic collection of early 20th-century Canadian fiction. I loved how it showcases the diverse voices and stories that were emerging during that time. The writing style is engaging, making it hard to put down!

Interesting but Lacked Depth
I found the book to be intriguing, but it didn't go as deep into the context of each author as I hoped. There are some great stories, but a little more background would have helped appreciate the works better. Still a decent read!

I was expecting a wider range of authors and stories. Some of the pieces felt outdated and not very engaging. Sadly, it just didn’t hold my interest like I thought it would. Wouldn't buy again.
