La distribucin espacial es determinada por el clima asociado con altitud; de 1,200 msnm, con 100 % de rboles infestados, el nivel de dao disminuye hasta una altitud mxima de 2,099 msnm, e incidencia del 0.11 %. La plaga se distribuye verticalmente con mayor abundancia hacia la parte media del rea foliar de la planta (57.27 %).
