Die vorliegende Dissertation entstand wah rend meiner Tatigkeit am Fraunhofer Institut fOr Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung (IPA) in Stuttgart, unter der Be treuung von Prof. Dr.Ing. Dr. h.c. mult. H. J. Warnecke, Prasident der Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. Ihm gebOhrt mein Dank fOr das innovationsfOrdernde und kreativitats freundliche Umfeld, das er am Institut gewahrleistet hat und das die Erstellung einer solchen Dissertation erst ermoglicht. DarOberhinaus hat er mir damit einen weitge fassten Einblick in die industrielle Praxis und die Sammlung umfangreicher Erfah rungen mit wissenschaftlichen und ingenieurtechnischen Arbeitsweisen ermdglicht. Bei Herrn Prof. Dipl.Ing. A. Jung mochte ich mich nicht nur fOr die Obernahme des Mitberichtes bedanken, sondern auch fOr die personliche, konstruktive und unkom plizierte Besprechung meiner Arbeit und die wichtigen und nOtzlichen Hinweise, die ich von Ihm erhalten habe. Desweiteren gilt mein Dank all denen, die mich in meiner Arbeit und privat unter stotzt und in meinen Bestrebungen gefordert haben. Hierbei mochte ich besonders Dr.Ing. M. Schweizer, Dipl.Ing. J. C.
