The Baltimore Catechism's complete title is A Catechism of Christian Doctrine, Prepared and Enjoined by Order of the Third Council of Baltimore. It was the basic Catholic school text used from 1885 to 1966's. The Baltimore Catechism was the first such text written in North America. The catechism is still used today even though many schools have stopped using catechism based education. This book is part 3 of a 4 volume set. The first book is an abridged version for younger students. The second book is the basic text. Book three is an edition for older students. Book 4 is an annotated text written for teachers.
