Im Rahmen der ersten Sule geht es um die Berechnung der Mindesteigenkapitalanforderungen fr das Kreditrisiko, das Marktrisiko und das operationelle Risiko. Das Verhltnis von haftendem Eigenkapital zu gewichteten Risikoaktiva darf nicht geringer als 8 % sein. Die zweite Sule hat das bankaufsichtliche berprfungsverfahren zum Inhalt; die dritte Sule hingegen handelt von der Marktdisziplin und Offenlegungsvorschriften. Der primre Fokus soll im Rahmen dieses Konzeptpapiers jedoch die erste Sule darstellen. Dabei werden insbesondere die Ermittlung von Ausfallwahrscheinlichkeiten und der Aspekt der anerkennungsfhigen Sicherheiten nher beleuchtet. Die Summe aller gewichteten Risikoaktiva wird bestimmt, indem die Eigenkapitalanforderungen fr Marktrisiken und operationelle Risiken mit 12,5 multipliziert und zur Summe der gewichteten Risikoaktiva aus dem Kreditgeschft addiert werden.
