I bought this for my therapy practice, and it has been incredibly useful. The chapters on various medications are particularly helpful. The 2nd edition also includes recent developments, which is a plus. Great reference book!

Essential for new therapists
I just finished the 2nd edition of Basic Psychopharmacology for Counselors and Psychotherapists, and I can't recommend it enough! The explanations are clear and really help you understand the medications we often discuss with clients. As a grad student, this has been a fantastic resource for my studies.

Cover tears easily
I was excited to get this book, but when it arrived, the cover was already slightly torn. The content seems great for the most part, but I worry about the durability. A little disappointed in the packaging as well.
