Honestly, I was let down by 'Bat Eater.' The title made it seem thrilling, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The story felt disjointed and hard to follow at times. I wanted to like it more, but I struggled through the last chapters.

Engaging and darkly humorous read
I picked up 'Bat Eater' on a whim, and I couldn't put it down! Cora Zeng's story as a crime scene cleaner is so unique and brilliantly written. The blend of horror and mystery kept me on edge the whole time. Perfect for fans of dark comedies!

Interesting premise, but pacing was off
I found the concept of a Chinese-American crime scene cleaner fascinating, but the pacing felt a bit slow in the middle. While the horror elements were intriguing, some parts dragged on longer than needed. Still a decent read overall!
