About the Author Jamie Fuhrman Wurtzberger grew up in a small town in Montana and followed her father to all his coaching events during her younger years. Her dad inspired her to get her teaching degree and to work with kids. His motto was "kids first" and she really believed that. After her father passed on she wanted to remember him by creating a children's book based on a true event from his coaching days. Although the idea of the book took hold years ago, she accomplished traveling Europe, running marathons, getting an MBA and moving to New Jersey and Minnesota before tackling her next dream. Now she lives in Minnesota with her husband and two boys while enjoying outdoor activities, traveling and playing volleyball whenever she gets a chance. Writing is something she loves and hopes to continue her entire life.
