Notably, Bedeys, who had been traditionally keeping their lifestyles unchanged and do not usually welcome any change, are also changing their socioeconomic, sociopolitical and cultural environment. So, now is the time to talk about the changes that occurred in Bedey communities in Bangladesh. After reviewing the literature in this field, it was found that most of the previous studies showed merely coherent pictures of the Bedeys life styles. Hence, Bedey Community of Kanchonpur: A Sociological Study is a great endeavour to scrutinize how and why the Bedeys are getting settled; how they are reshaping and recognizing their society under a different social setting; and what major changes they are welcoming, and to explore why changes are occurring in Bedey communities.
