Mittlerweile ist gesichert, dass Angehrige von Patienten mit schweren Schdelhirnverletzungen hochgradig belastet sind und doch findet in den meisten Rehabilitationseinrichtungen keine systematische Angehrigenarbeit statt. Im Klinikalltag bleibt kaum Zeit, Angehrige in dieser Lebenskrise aufzufangen. Eine umfassende Information der Angehrigen kann einen positiven Einfluss auf den Rehabilitationsverlauf des Patienten bewirken. Denn ohne Angehrige gehts nicht: Angehrige bernehmen in der Entwicklung des Patienten eine wichtige Rolle. Sie kennen ihn besser als jeder andere, sie motivieren und lassen den Patienten am Leben auerhalb des Klinikzimmers teilhaben. Das vorliegende Projekt will dem Wunsch nach Informationen durch die Entwicklung eines modularen Informationskonzepts fr Angehrige von schwerst schdelhirnverletzten Menschen nachkommen. Neben den Informationen zu Therapiemethoden aus dem interdisziplinren Bereich, soll den Angehrigen ein Platz zur Belastungsreduzierung verschafft werden. Es soll ein Beitrag geleistet werden, die Versorgung schwer schdelhirnverletzter Menschen im Rehabilitationssetting zu verbessern.
