Of particular value is the systematic presentation of grammatical structures, with a detailed crossindex integrated into the KoreanEnglish vocabulary that accompanies the EnglishKorean vocabulary at the end of the book. The pronunciation is introduced in carefully planned drills that are grouped together at the beginning of the book. The course follows the overall pedagogical methods that have come to be known as the Yale audiolingual approach.Mr. Martin is chariman of the Department of Linguistics at Yale University, and Mrs. Lee is assistant professor of Korean at the University of Hawaii.
