Zwar gehrt der Datenschutz zu den seltenen Problemfeldern in unserer technisierten Gesellschaft, die von Politik und Jurisprudenz bereits angegangen wurden, bevor ein entsprechender Regelungsbedarf in der ffentlichkeit gefordert wurde schlielich waren Gefahren durch Computer und immer grere Speicherungsmglichkeiten im Jahr 1979, den Jahr, in dem das erste Bundesdatenschutzgesetzes in Kraft getreten ist, lngst nicht in der heutigen Form bekannt. Dennoch flaute die Kritik an einem einerseits zu intensiven, aber andererseits nicht umfassenden Datenschutzkonzept des Gesetzgebers auch nach mehreren Novellierungen des BDSG nicht ab.
