Der Bundesweite berwachungsplan (Bp) ist ein fr ein Jahr festgelegter Plan ber die zwischen den Bundeslndern abgestimmte Durchfhrung von amtlichen Kontrollen zur berprfung der Einhaltung der lebensmittelrechtlichen, weinrechtlichen und tabakrechtlichen Vorschriften. Er kann Programme enthalten zu Produkt und Betriebskontrollen oder eine Kombination aus beidem. Im Gegensatz zum Monitoring nach 50 52 des Lebensmittel und Futtermittelgesetzbuch (LFGB) ist der Bp ein risikoorientiertes berwachungsprogramm. Das heit, dass die Auswahl der zu untersuchenden Proben und der zu kontrollierenden Betriebe gezielt auf Basis einer Risikoanalyse erfolgt. Im Rahmen des Bp knnen Lebensmittel, Kosmetika und Bedarfsgegenstnde untersucht werden. Die Untersuchungen von Erzeugnissen knnen dabei beispielsweise die folgenden Aspekte abdecken: chemische Parameter, mikrobiologische Parameter, die Anwendung bestimmter Herstellungsverfahren oder die berprfung von Kennzeichnungselementen. Betriebskontrollen werden vorrangig durchgefhrt zur Prfung der Einhaltung hygienerechtlicher Vorgaben, der Rckverfolgbarkeit, der Zusammensetzung und der Kennzeichnung der Produkte.
