Product Description Ende Januar 1945 floh eine Frau auf abenteuerliche Weise mit ihren 5 Kindern vor der russischen Armee von Ostpreuen an die Nordseekste. Eine Tochter hatte einen Bernstein in ihrem Handschuh versteckt, den sie trotz widriger Umstnde sorgsam htete, der aber dennoch unglcklicherweise verloren ging. In der Erzhlung wird das karge Leben der Familie in den Nachkriegsjahren von 1945 bis 1953 beschrieben, das von den Kindern eigentlich nicht als Einschrnkung empfunden wurde, nicht zuletzt durch die wunderschnen Eindrcke der Jahreszeiten und dem endlos groen Spielplatz auf der Halbinsel Eiderstedt. Am Ende der Geschichte tauchte der verloren geglaubte Bernstein auf wundersame Weise wieder auf.
