Many business sectors have applied best practice in order to improve their performance, but with mixed success. In addition, the results of previous studies related to the relationship between best business practices and performance were inconclusive. The results of this study attempt to provide some exploratory information that hoped to deepen the understanding of the interrelationship between best business practices, business strategy and firms' performance. It is hoped that this study can provide insights for future research in this area and should be especially useful to entrepreneurs and managers in ceramics industry not only in Thailand but other countries as well, or anyone else who may be considering adopting best business practices for improving organizational performance.
