Oft sind sie derart originell, dass sie auch losgelst vom Produkt im Gedchtnis bleiben und zu 'geflgelten Worten' der Alltagssprache werden.' Diese kurze Begriffsbestimmung soll auf das Hauptanliegen dieser Hausarbeit hinweisen: Der Werbeslogan. Ich mchte mich in dieser Arbeit vor allem den Funktionen und Aufflligkeiten von Werbeslogans widmen, die sie zu prgnanten und einprgsamen Werbesprchen und zu unverzichtbaren Elementen der Werbekommunikation machen, denn: Der Slogan ist der eigentliche geheime Verfhrer!' Der zweite Punkt der Arbeit soll einen berblick zur einleitenden Frage Was ist eigentlich Werbung?' bieten, um dann genauer auf Werbesprache und im Speziellen auf den Begriff Slogan einzugehen. Die meisten Slogans stehen sehr wenig oder gar nicht mit auersprachlichen Ausdrucksmitteln in Beziehung. Aus diesem Grund werden Slogans auch hufig fr sprachliche Forschungen gewhlt. Slogans bilden eine gute Mglichkeit, die charakteristische Funktionsweise der Werbesprache, sowie die rhetorischen und stilistischen Mittel zu ergrnden. Diese Mittel werden in der Werbung eingesetzt, um die Aufgaben der Sprache zu erfllen. Ich habe mich zur Verdeutlichung der Theorie auf Beispiele aus der Waschmittelwerbung spezialisiert, da diese Branche zu den werbestrksten gehrt. Vor allem durch den jahrelangen Bestand der Produkte wie z.B. Persil', das bereits am 6.Juni 1907 in der Dsseldorfer Zeitung als Ankndigungsanzeige erschien und kurz darauf auf den Markt kam , sowie das Ost Pendant Spee',
