Denn entscheidend fr die Erreichung des Produktionsziels im Unternehmen ist nicht die rechtliche Stellung des Maschinennutzers als Eigentmer, sondern lediglich das Vorhandensein des Betriebsmittels an sich. Diese Erkenntnis ist nicht erst in unserer modernen Zeit entstanden. Bereits 350 v. Chr. schrieb Aristoteles folgende Erkenntnis auf: Der Reichtum besteht vielmehr im Gebrauch als im Eigentum'. Leasing ist in der Regel eine Form der langfristigen Fremdfinanzierung, bei der Leasingnehmer und geber ein fr einen festgelegten Zeitraum geltendes miet oder pachthnliches Verhltnis eingehen. Diese Finanzierungsform soll fr ein Unternehmen in mehrerer Hinsicht vorteilhaft sein. Zum einen wird das Eigenkapital geschont. Liquiditt fliet nur parallel zum Produktionsprozess ab und nicht als ein groer Betrag beim Kauf (pay as you earn). Weiterhin soll ein steuerlicher Effekt erreicht werden, da die Leasingausgaben bei korrekter Gestaltung des Leasingvertrages in voller Hhe als Betriebsausgaben absetzbar sind. Auerdem kann das Unternehmen in regelmigen Abstnden ber neue Produktionsmittel auf dem aktuellen Stand der Technik verfgen. Diese Arbeit beschftigt sich nun mit dem Themenkomplex Leasing. Dieser soll aus unterschiedlichen betriebswirtschaftlichen Blickwinkeln betrachtet und analysiert werden. Gleichzeitig soll kritisch hinterfragt werden, ob Leasing im Vergleich zum Kauf eines Anlagegutes wirklich die Vorteile bietet, mit denen es von der Leasingindustrie beworben wird.
