Theo rien entwickelt, die eine Erklarung bzw. Prognose der Entwicklung und des Ver haltens der interessierenden Systeme ermoglichen. Zum anderen entwickelt die Betriebswirtschaftslehre aber auch Methoden und Systemkonzeptionen zur Unter stiitzung betriebswirtschaftlicher Entscheidungsprozesse, mit deren Hilfe das Wissen iiber die relevanten Systeme fUr eine "Verbesserung" dieser Prozesse nutzbar ge macht werden kann. Bei der Betrachtung der betriebswirtschaftlich relevanten Systeme und Entschei dungen nimmt die Betriebswirtschaftslehre auf Ergebnisse und Konzeptionen ihrer Nachbardisziplinen Bezug.
