King, Fred McDowell, Bonnie Raitt, Otis Rush, Roosevelt Sykes, Big Mama Thornton, Sippie Wallace, Muddy Waters, Junior Wells, Bukka White, and Howlin Wolf. Contributors include critically acclaimed music biographer Peter Guralnick, Grammy awardwinning musician Bonnie Raitt, and author Chris Murray.

I was excited to check out the blues archive, but I found some tracks to be a bit repetitive. It's got some gems for sure, but I was hoping for more variety. Still, if you’re a hardcore blues fan, it’s worth a listen for the historical value alone.

The music on this album is fantastic — really captures the spirit of the blues. However, I was disappointed with how long it took to arrive. It took almost two weeks, which is a bit much. If you're patient, the music is worth the wait!
