I found 'Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea' to be a bit too dark for my taste. The plot is intriguing, but some parts felt drawn out. I wished for a lighter tone. Might appeal to those who enjoy gothic themes more.

This book is beautifully written and the atmosphere is haunting. I loved the lyrical prose and the way the author builds tension. It’s a bit dark, but if you’re into that kind of vibe, you’ll likely appreciate it!

I enjoyed the premise of the book, but it took a while to really get into the story. The writing is solid and there are some great moments, just wish it had picked up the pace sooner. Worth the read, though!
