Each word is highlighted positively while continuing on in a fun rhyme scheme to keep young readers engaged."Inspired by my daughter I decided to write BEYOND PRETTY as a way to encourage little girls, by highlighting qualities outside of looks that they we should recognize and embrace, and that they should be encouraged to grow and cultivate. Qualities like being ambitious, knowledgeable, funny, honest and caring. When we take the time to recognize these qualities we empower the girls we recognize them in."
