Sarojini Naidu Was Born On February 13, 1879, In Hyderabad. Her Father, Aghornath Chattopadhyay, Was A Renowned Scholar, And Her Mother, A Bengali Poet, Wrote In Bengali. Having A Keen Intellect Since Childhood, She Passed Her 12Th Grade Exams With Flying Colors At The Young Age Of 12 And Composed The Poem Lady Of The Lake At The Age Of 13. In 1895, She Went To England To Pursue Higher Education.In 1898, Sarojini Naidu Became The Life Partner Of Dr. Govindarajulu Naidu. In 1914, She Met Gandhiji For The First Time In England And, Influenced By His Ideas, Became Dedicated To The Nation. She Played A Significant Role In The Freedom Movement.Due To Her Popularity And Talent, She Became The President Of The Congress Session Held In Kanpur In 1925 And, In 1932, Traveled To South Africa As IndiaS Representative. After IndiaS Independence, She Became The First Governor Of Uttar Pradesh. A Dear Friend Of Mrs. Annie Besant And A Beloved Disciple Of Gandhiji, She Dedicated Her Entire Life To The Nation. She Passed Away On March 2, 1949.The Inspiring Life Story Of The Great Leader Sarojini Naidu, Known As The Nightingale Of India.
