Before retiring voluntarily as a professor in African history, he combined his work in the academia with active role in the church. He is involved in literature ministry and with founding Resource centres for networking and equipping Saints for the work of ministry. Dr. Oshin is the founder of Word and Spirit ministries, and Director of Centre for Biblical Christianity.
