Some folks have said this is the best introduction to the steps they've ever used.People also have asked me, "What's the difference between this daily reader and your other one, Daily Thoughts and Meditations: Steps on the path to recovery?" Although they have many of the same ideas (and some of the same words), this book, Bird Feet, presents the ideas more or less randomly throughout the year. The other book, Daily Thoughts, organizes the thoughts and meditations into major topics: Getting Real, Getting Clear, Helping Me, Staying Clear, Working Together, How Things Work, and Helping Others. I like this newer book a little better, but other folks don't always agree. Some people use both.
