Great guide for amateur bird watchers
I picked up this "Birds of the Midwest" guide to help my kids identify the backyard birds we see. It's easy to navigate and the illustrations are really clear. We’ve already spotted several species just this week!

Decent, but not as comprehensive as I hoped
While the "Birds of the Midwest" guide has some great visuals, I found some of the common birds we see aren’t included. It's alright for quick identification, but I had to look up some details online after using it.

Damaged upon arrival
Unfortunately, the book arrived with a bent cover, which was disappointing. I was excited to use the "Identify Backyard Birds with Ease" guide, but it's hard to feel good about the purchase when it came in poor condition. Hoping for a replacement!

The "Identify Backyard Birds with Ease" guide is a solid start for birdwatchers like me, but I wish it had more detailed information about each bird's behavior. Still, it's handy for quick references when I'm outside!
